What Zeolites Actually Are

Zeolites are naturally occurring aluminosilicate minerals with a porous, cage-like crystalline structure. They form from volcanic ash reacting with alkaline water over millions of years and have medicinal, industrial and agricultural uses due to their ion-exchange and adsorption properties.

Regarding aluminum safety:

While zeolites contain aluminum in their structure, the aluminum is tightly bound within the crystalline framework.

Zeolites are not absorbed by the body at all but act rather as a magnet to bind heavy metals which have a great affinity to the negatively charged zeolites. Zeolites bind toxins in hierarchal order and heavy metals are bind first:

Hg→Pb→Sn→Cd→As→Al→Sb→Ni

Heavy metal binding: Zeolites can bind certain positively charged ions (cations) due to their negative charge, which is scientifically established. However, the hierarchical binding order listed and the effectiveness in the human digestive system specifically needs more rigorous clinical evidence.

Zeolites have much wider applications and I will focus on them in my next Substack. I have been using zeolites in my clinic for almost 30 years for other health reasons internally and externally. In this Substack I focus on the use of zeolites in binding self-assembling nanotechnology which consists of heavy metals and plastic polymers.

Recommendations

If you’re considering zeolite supplementation, consult with a qualified healthcare provider and ensure any product is:
  • Properly purified and tested for contaminants
  • From a reputable source with third-party testing
  • Appropriate for your specific health situation

How Zeolites work?

Despite their name, the aluminum in zeolites is not absorbed by the human body or by plants in the soil. Instead, zeolites carry a negative charge, which acts like a powerful magnet. They:

  • Bind heavy metals inside their crystalline structure
  • Absorb toxins
  • Deactivate certain bacteria and viruses
  • Remove these harmful substances safely through secretion

When added to soil, zeolites lock toxins away permanently, preventing plants from absorbing them.

Why I Recommend Australian Clinoptilolite

The zeolites I use and recommend are Australian clinoptilolite zeolites. They are particularly beneficial for a wide range of soils—from sandy and sandy loam to heavy loam and clay.

Here are some of their proven benefits for soil and food safety:

  • Trap and bond heavy metals
  • Increase the cation exchange capacity of soil
  • Boost plant growth and yield
  • Improve plant health and resilience
  • Enhance soil porosity and structure
  • Improve water retention and distribution
  • Increase fertiliser efficiency
  • Convert ammonia into nitrogen
  • Prevent nitrogen leaching into waterways
  • Help remediate soil salinity and acidification
  • Improve degraded soils
  • Long-lasting—Australian zeolite is geologically hard and stable, meaning it works forever.

Final Thoughts

By supporting both our internal detoxification systems and our soil health with zeolites, humic, fulvic acid and other nutrients can create a two-layer defence against toxins from chemtrails and other environmental pollutants.
