This healthy refreshing drink can be made through Spring, Summer and Autumn. There is no artificial colorings or preservatives, just a pure goodness of Nature. This drink will relax you and impress your visitors and even fussy children.
In this recipe I have used herbs with calming, soothing and restoring adrenal function properties:
Few branches of flowering Rose geranium
Few cuts of Lemon Balm (Melissa) but you may use fresh mint
10-15 fresh lavender or any edible lavender flowers
1 cup of infused organic rosehip tea, cold
1 sliced lemon
Few extra fresh Lemon balm leaves to garnish
Chop roughly all herbs except lemon and an extra Lemon balm. Put all chopped herbs in a pot with 1 liter of cold water. Bring it to the boiling point only. Switch off the hot plate and let the herbs simmer for ½ hours until they cool down.
Get a glass 1.5 l jug (plastic or stainless steel jug is strongly discouraged), strain herbal infusion and pout into the glass jug, add infused strained rosehip tea, top up with cold water, add ice cubes if required. Add sliced lemon and decorate with Lemon balm leaves.
