Herbs are very powerful in any form. However, they need to be blended and used a correct way for the maximum benefit.  Turmeric Latte spice blend can easily be made at home. To make Turmeric Latte blend I have selected the following spices: Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, Black pepper and Licorice powders. Turmeric is incredibly powerful as discussed in my video. However, it needs fat and heat to be activated. This is why in India there is the lowest occurrence of cancer in the world as curries are often on the menu. Black pepper increases absorption of herbs, while Licorice is used in herbal medicine not only for its therapeutic properties such as adrenal health but it is known for it for its synergistic effect. Cinnamon is known for its therapeutic action in weight loss and in balancing sugar levels.

Ingredients:

20g    Organic Turmeric powder

5.0g   Organic Cinnamon powder

3.0 g  Organic Licorice root powder

2.5g   Organic Ginger powder

0.5g   Organic Black Pepper powder

You probably already have all spiced for your very own Turmeric Latte

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight glass container in your pantry.  Heat 1 teaspoon of Turmeric Latte in a saucepan with milk or coconut milk and whisk through to froth. Add some honey to taste and pour into a cup. Drink hot and enjoy it!
